Quality and the environment have always been prioritised areas at Leine&Linde. The company has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 1995. We work constantly to improve these systems. Development or the creation of conditions for development of quality and environmental work in our activities include follow-up and evaluation of our processes as well as analysis and appraisement of data; work resulting in fact-based improvement measures.

Quality work at Leine&Linde means working constantly with focus on the delivery of quality to our customers. The effort involves active work with our suppliers, ongoing efforts to improve our internal processes and listening to our customers and offering them good support. Seeing the next link in the production chain as one’s internal customer increases the consciousness of our personnel and strengthens our customer focus. All of this occurs in a completely customer order controlled production environment.

Environment

Environmental work at Leine&Linde is characterised by a consciousness of our environment and the impact of our activities on the external surroundings. This impact is regulated through well thought-out choices when introducing new products, equipment or materials and through a well-adapted system for managing the waste generated. The company is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001 since 2002. Environmental consciousness is also reflected in our activity goals. That environmental work is strategically important is reinforced by our environmental policy.

Environmental policy
To actively work to minimise the environmental impact on our surroundings is considered a strategically important position for Leine&Linde.
This work involves:

1. economising on energy, water and other natural resources
2. following current environmental legislation
3. continuously increasing employee’s environmental knowledge and promoting their commitment to the environment
4. selecting as far as possible the best technology and materials from an environmental standpoint
5. minimising as far as possible the amount of waste and emissions from operations
6. continuously improving our environmental work through defined environmental goals and follow-ups

This results in a working climate that favours both people and our surrounding environment.
