Product support

Leine & Linde will provide assistance and technical support throughout the whole process. From responding to customer needs all the way to a delivered and operating product. As a last step in the process Leine & Linde will provide support for the after-market. For product support, contact: info@leinelinde.se

Warranty and claim handling

Leine & Linde do not perform repairs on encoders. In case of a warranty/guarantee approval the encoder will be replaced free of charge. Two levels of inspection could be performed:
1. An initial analysis is always performed on returned encoders to decide whether the return should be accepted as a claim or not.
2. A more thorough technical inspection can be performed, a fee of 170,- EUR will be charged.

Process

To return an encoder to Leine & Linde for the functional test and/or technical inspection, please contact your local sales representative.

If a technical inspection is ordered a technical report will be distributed via your local sales representative.

The inspected encoder will be kept at Leine & Linde for 1 month after the closing of the claim.

Basic conditions

An encoder that is sent to Leine & Linde for inspection will not be returned to the customer. This is due to the destructive dismantling of the encoder which is necessary to perform the failure analysis. The quality of the encoder is secured through out each step in the production process, the final test itself is not enough to base the failure analysis on.

In case of significant damage, caused by the customer or other external force we reserve the right to refuse a technical inspection. The customer will then be offered to buy a new encoder.
