This type of inductive incremental encoder was developed based on what wind turbine producers have kept on asking for: long lifetime, minimized impact on performance due to environmental conditions and ease of installation and commissioning.
Robust and versatile position measurement solution to monitor axis rotation in wind turbines and other large machines
The 600 YAWMO® sensors are well known for providing reliable position feedback for the wind turbine’s yaw system. The position sensor 600 YAWMO® is based on the Leine Linde 600 series, which is a robust absolute encoder with disturbance-free inductive scanning – resistant to vibrations, moisture, dust, heat and cold.
For large shafts, tight spaces and long durability
The Bearingless 2000 series consists of big hollow shaft incremental encoders, made for mounting directly on large rotating shafts or to fit perfectly with the NEMA standard C-face motors. The series can be equipped with one or two sensor heads for contactless reading of the signal with or without redundancy.
The series also includes ATEX-/IECEx-certified products and ADS Uptime™ for built-in condition monitoring.
